Ways to pick your numbers
Quick Pick
There are two options for having the ticket terminal generate random numbers for you:
- Just ask the clerk for a Powerball Quick Pick—it’s that easy!
- Mark the QP box on your playslip (using pencil, blue, or black ink).
Manual pick
To select your own numbers, fill out a playslip with pencil or blue or black ink. A single playslip offers up to five sets of numbers. If you make a mistake, mark the VOID box.
DO NOT ERASE
Multidraw
Play the same numbers for 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 20 consecutive drawings! Either mark the Multidraw box on your playslip or tell the clerk how many draws you want.
Power Play
Players have an option to add Power Play for an additional $1 per play. Match 5 white balls and win $2 million!
The Power Play option also offers other set prizes. When the jackpot is under $151 million, the 10x multiplier could win you up to $500,000. (Jackpot excluded.)
Buying your tickets
Every Powerball ticket is $2 per set of five (5) numbers and (1) Powerball (plus $1 for each optional Power Play).
Your ticket is your receipt. It displays:
- The numbers for each play
- The date of the drawing
- The dollar amount you paid
Please confirm the accuracy of your number picks.
Canceling a ticket
Powerball tickets cannot be canceled. It is important you check the accuracy of your playslip with the vendor before finalizing your purchase.
Sign your ticket
Your ticket is your property. Protect it by signing your name on the back. If your ticket is lost or stolen, the only way to prove ownership is through your name, address, and signature.
