Questions about claiming your prize? Playing a game? Using the WyoLotto® app? We’ve got you.

If you don’t see the answer to your question below, contact us, and we’ll be happy to provide assistance.

Winning & claiming prizes

There are several ways to claim your prize depending on the prize amount and your personal preference. Just remember if you plan to come into the office to claim a prize over $600, you need to make an appointment by calling 307.432.9300 and bring the required documents.

Read the Claim Your Prize page for all requirements.

In most cases, you are not required to come into the office.

However, if your prize is $50,000 or more, you are required to come to WyoLotto headquarters. Please call 307.432.9300 to make an appointment.

Not at the moment, but stay tuned to our website and social media pages for an announcement when we do introduce one.

We will honor all requests for anonymity from winners. If you want to share your info, know that our players love seeing and celebrating each and every win.

Winning tickets are redeemable for a limited time of 180 days from the date of the drawing. After this date has passed the prizes won on the ticket are no longer payable.

Playing WyoLotto Games

– Mega Millions® and Powerball® tickets are both $2 each, plus an extra $1 when you add the Megaplier® or Power Play®.

– Cowboy Draw® tickets are $5 for two lines of numbers.

– Lucky for Life® tickets cost $2.

– WyoLotto KENO® tickets start at $1.

– 2by2® tickets are always only a buck!

You can also ask your retailer for a Round Up to play 5 games (excluding KENO) for $14. Round Up includes a Quick Pick for all 5 non-KENO games, including Power Play and Megaplier.

Cowboy Draw tickets are cancelable only by returning the ticket to the retailer that sold the ticket and on the same date of purchase. If a clerk enters the wrong numbers on a Cowboy Draw ticket you may ask that they cancel the ticket. Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, WyoLotto KENO, and 2by2 tickets cannot be canceled. Should any issues arise, please contact us.

The legislation that created the Wyoming Lottery requires all purchases be cash only.

At this time, no. The legislation that authorized the creation of the Wyoming Lottery specifically prohibits scratch games. However, we are always researching other draw games to add in the future!

Yes! Since launching, we’ve added a variety of new draw games, and we are always conducting research to determine other draw games that may be a good fit for Wyoming.

Net proceeds go to the Wyoming State Treasurer. From there, monies are distributed to cities, towns, and counties. Learn more on our Giving Back page.

Using the WyoLotto app

Lucky for you, the WyoLotto app is free!

Download the WyoLotto app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Search for “WyoLotto” and follow the instructions for your device.

The WyoLotto app is designed for iOS 11+ and Android 8+.

From the app’s login page, click the “Sign Up” button to create your account username and password. To receive winning ticket notifications, draw reminders, and other announcements, choose to “Enable Push Notifications.” Once you accept the Terms and Conditions and verify that you are at least 18 years of age, an email will be sent to you with a link to verify your email address to complete account setup.

If you are having issues creating an account after following the steps above, please email support@wyolotto.com and we will help!

Wondering where that verification email went? If your email address was entered correctly, we recommend checking both your trash and spam folder. If you still don’t see it, check your email security to make sure our emails are not being blocked.

Click the Forgot My Password link to receive an email with a link to change your password. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see an email from us.

Current jackpots – Easily check the jackpots of each game, learn more details on how to play, and view past winning numbers.

Retailer locator – Find a WyoLotto retailer no matter where you are with the retailer locator tab.

Go to the Current Jackpots page, then at the top right of the page, click “Past Winning Numbers” to select a game and draw date.

Once you scan your ticket, simply click “Save This Ticket.” Then you can click “View Ticket Details” to see your saved ticket information. Please note, this feature is only available if you create an account and not for users in guest mode.

Yes! Yes! Yes! While we love providing you the ease of scanning tickets ahead of draws, your original ticket is the key to claiming your winnings. To officially validate and process your ticket winnings, we must scan the ticket itself either at a Wyolotto retailer or our headquarters

Don’t worry, we are here to help! Be sure to lay your ticket out flat in a well-lit area. If the barcode on your ticket is damaged, you can manually enter your ticket numbers via the “Check My Numbers” option within the ticket menu.

If your barcode is intact and readable, the ticket scanned should show you the correct amount you have won. However, if you believe the amount shown is incorrect, please take your ticket to the nearest retailer to verify.

Ah shucks, unfortunately after 180 days from the date of the drawing, your ticket and the winnings tied to it will expire.

Have a multi-draw ticket? Keep in mind that while they may be on the same ticket, each prize will expire 180 days after it’s unique draw date.

First of all, CONGRATS and it’s ok to celebrate. If the app tells you that your ticket may be a winner, take it to your nearest retailer that sells Wyoming Lottery games to verify your win. For more information, visit our Claim your prize page.

In order to get the most benefits from this app, it is necessary for the app to utilize the functions of your specific mobile device. Here are some examples of how the app’s permissions work.

Location – The app includes a retailer map locator so you can find the closest location to redeem your winning ticket. In order for this to function properly it needs to coordinate with the GPS installed on your particular mobile device.

Camera – The app interfaces directly with the camera functions of your phone in order to scan tickets.

Device ID and Call Information – As a security measure, we access your device ID to validate drawing entries and it enables us to be alerted of potential hacks.

We will continue to look for new features that will make this app even better. As updates roll out, we will let players know through notifications in the app as well as communicating it through our social, email, and web channels.

About the new website

There are two easy options to access past winning numbers!

– The first is from the game page itself. Just scroll down to “Draw history” and you
have access to all past winning numbers drawn within the last 180 days.
– You can also access this same section from the “check your numbers” page by
clicking “View draw history” after you have selected a game.

If you want to view our past winners you can access them through our winner’s page. Select the “Winners” page under “Wyo Wins” to view a large map of Wyoming where you can see big wins for each game. Be sure to scroll down the page to the bottom to see some of our featured winners and read about their stories!

If you’d like to see a more extensive list of any big win of $100 or more just click the “View all past winners” button right below the map, which will take you to a table where you can search by date, amount won, location, and game.

You can see the estimated cash value for Powerball and Mega Millions by going to the individual game pages and looking under the “current estimated jackpot.”

Great question! Click on the “Giving Back” page under “Wyo Wins” to see grand totals for WyoLotto transfers to the state, total winnings, and retailer commissions. These amounts are updated quarterly after each state transfer.
