Wyoming has two more winners. In the May 12 Mega Millions® drawing, a lucky WyoLotto™ player bought a ticket and spent an extra $1 for the Megaplier which was 5X for the night. That turned their initial $5,000 winnings into $25,000 after they matched four out of five numbers plus the Mega Ball number. The ticket was sold at Kelly’s Convenience Center located at 1652 9th Street in Rock Springs.
A second WyoLotto player matched four out of five numbers and, thanks to the extra $1 spent on the Megaplier, turned a winning $500 ticket into $2,500. The ticket was sold at Reese and Ray’s IGA located at 225 South 4th Street in Thermopolis.
The jackpot for Mega Millions is now an estimated $159 million. Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m.
