WyoLotto in search of May 5 $2 Million Powerball Winner and May 3 Cowboy Draw Jackpot Winner

On Saturday, May 5, a lucky Powerball player became a millionaire as WyoLotto’sTM latest big winner. WyoLotto officials announced the $2 million ticket was sold at Maverik, located at 4651 W. Yellowstone Hwy, in Casper, Wyo. No one was able to match all five numbers and the Powerball, as the jackpot increased to $233 million, but the lucky player at the Casper Maverik was able to match all five regular numbers to become the newest millionaire. By adding the Power Play for just an extra $1, this player doubled their winnings from the $1 million prize to $2 million.

WyoLotto officials are now in search of the winner who has yet to come forward. “Check your tickets! You could be the winner, you just don’t know it yet!” said Jon Clontz, CEO of WyoLotto.

The winning numbers of the May 5, draw were 14, 29, 36, 57, 61 and Powerball of 17. If you think you have the winning numbers, call the WyoLotto office at 855-995-6886 (855-WY-LOTTO).

This recent win comes just days after the Cowboy Draw jackpot of $466,159 was won on May 3, at the Loaf ‘N Jug at 1900 E. 2nd Street in Casper. The search is still on for that winner, with the winning numbers of 10, 20, 35, 37 and 40.

“Having two big winners from the same city in a span of just a couple of days is a really exciting time for us,” Clontz added.

To celebrate the two big wins, WyoLotto will be hosting retailer parties at both locations in Casper on Monday, May 21st, beginning at the Loaf ‘N Jug located 1900 E. 2nd Street from 10 a.m. to noon, and at the Maverik located at 4651 W. Yellowstone Hwy from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

WyoLotto players have been notching wins across the state, with more than 3 million winners bringing home over $42.5 million in total winnings since the lottery launched in August of 2014.
