Riverton retailer sold winning Mega Millions ticket

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that one player won a total of $500 in the Mega Millions® drawing on Fri., May 1. Riverton Discount Liquors, located at 617 North Federal Boulevard in Riverton, sold the winning $500 ticket on March 24.

Make sure to check www.wyolotto.com to see if you hold a winning ticket! The winning numbers for the May 1 Mega Millions drawing were 17, 18, 61, 66, 74, and 3 with the Megaplier being 3x. Since the launch of the Wyoming Lottery in August of last year, the Cowboy Draw jackpot has been hit three times and 374,521 WyoLotto players have won a total of $3,406,480.

With no one hitting the jackpot, Mega Millions has grown to an estimated $110 million for the next drawing. Powerball® has reached an estimated $80 million and Cowboy Draw is at $260,000.

Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m. Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m. Each Cowboy Draw ticket costs $5 and provides two chances to win. The weekly drawings for Cowboy Draw will be held every Monday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. MST.
