Powerball Jackpot at $321 million

Powerball’s® jackpot is growing to levels the nation hasn’t seen in months. The jackpot is now at $321 million, which is a cash value of $218.7 million. This jackpot is the highest it’s been since June 1, 2019 at $350 million, which was hit in North Carolina.

The record for Powerball’s jackpot was on January 13, 2016 when it was $1.5 billion and three winners split the pot.

“It is so much fun to dream about what you would do with that much money. Where would you go? Who would you help? What would you buy first?,” said Jon Clontz, CEO of the Wyoming Lottery Corporation.

With nine ways to win and the odds of winning at least one of those prizes is 1 in 24.9, Powerball is fun to play anytime. “We know it’s exciting to play when jackpots rise to these high levels, but we want to remind our players that there are other prize levels!” Clontz said.

Wyoming has seen it’s fair share of luck for Powerball players, including:

  • 1 winner of $2,000,0000
  • 2 winners of $1 million
  • 4 winners of $100,000
  • 14 winners of $50,000
  • 9 winners $1,000-$40,000

Total Powerball winnings since the game became available in Wyoming is $12,385,417.

The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at 8:59 p.m. (MT).
