Jackson retailer sells winning Mega Millions ticket

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that one player won $1,000 in the Mega Millions® drawing on Fri., Feb. 27. Loaf n’ Jug, located on 397 West Broadway in Jackson, sold the winning ticket on Feb. 25.

The winner bought the $1 Mega Millions ticket and paid the extra dollar for the Megaplier, increasing their initial winnings from $500 to a $1,000. The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were 7, 49, 53, 60, 64, and 4. The Megaplier was 2x. So far, 245,859 WyoLotto players have won a total of $1,341,568 since the launch of the lottery in August 2014.

The jackpot for Mega Millions is now an estimated $15 million and the Powerball® jackpot is worth an estimated $90 million. Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m. Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m.
