Cheyenne and Worland retailers sell winning Mega Millions tickets

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that two players won a total of $1,000 in the Mega Millions® drawing on Fri., Jan. 30. Reese & Rays IGA, located at 221 North 10th Street in Worland, sold a $500 ticket on Jan. 21. Kum & Go, located on 215 E Lincolnway in Cheyenne, sold a $500 ticket on Jan. 23.

The winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing were 18, 31, 39, 45, 55, and 6. The Megaplier was 5x. So far, 199,674 WyoLotto players have won a total of $1,080,144 since the launch of the lottery in August 2014.

The jackpot for Mega Millions is now an estimated $40 million and the Powerball® jackpot is worth an estimated $317 million. Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m. Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m.
