April 21, 2017 – On April 22, Wyoming Powerball players will get a chance to join in the national celebration of the game’s 25th anniversary. Today marks a major milestone for the game, which held its first drawing on April 22, 1992.

Fans will get a chance to win free tickets courtesy of WyoLottoTM as a gift to players. WyoLotto will give away $500 worth of ticket vouchers during a weekend Facebook Coupon Giveaway from April 22-23 to fans that participate and are randomly drawn to win. A total of 10 players will win 25 ticket vouchers each.

“To celebrate Powerball’s anniversary, we want you to have an opportunity to win on us! These are as good as cash. Players can present these the next time they buy a Powerball ticket. They could be worth millions, if not BILLIONS,” said Jon Clontz, CEO of WyoLotto.

Powerball has achieved many milestones in the last 25 years, and Wyoming has seen local milestones as well when it comes to its own lottery.
