The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that two players won a total of $1,500, during the Mega Millions® drawing on Friday, Aug. 29.
Tollgate Station in Green River sold a winning ticket valued at $1,000 on Aug. 29, 2014. The winner matched 4 of 5 numbers and had purchased the Megaplier. The Megaplier was 2x- increasing their total winnings to $1,000 ($500 multiplied by 2).
Maverik in Cody sold a winning ticket valued at $500 on Aug. 28, 2014. The winner matched 4 of 5 white balls.
Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play plus $1 for Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 8:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m. Winning numbers can be found at www.wyolotto.com approximately 15 minutes after each drawing. The current estimated Mega Millions jackpot is $33 million.
