Point of Rocks, WY retailer sells winning Mega Millions ticket

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that one player won $1,000 in the Mega Millions® drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 18.  Varley Mercantile, located at 130 I-80 in Point of Rocks, WY, sold the winning ticket on Nov. 17. Point of Rocks is about 26 miles east of Rock Springs.

The winning numbers for the Nov. 18 Mega Millions drawing were 37, 39, 53, 68, 75 and 6. So far, 110,153 WyoLotto players have won a total of $561,996 since the launch of the lottery in August.

The jackpot for Mega Millions is now an estimated $43 million and the Powerball® jackpot is worth an estimated $60 million. Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m.  Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. Ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m.
