MEDIA ADVISORY: Official Wyoming Lottery logo to be revealed
during Jan. 30 open house in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, WYO – The Wyoming Lottery Corporation invites the public to attend the unveiling of the official lottery logo during an open house held at its Cheyenne headquarters on Thurs., Jan. 30.

During the festivities, Wyoming Lottery CEO Jon Clontz will also give a brief status update of efforts that will allow Wyoming to participate in two types of multi-state games, Powerball and Mega Millions, later this year.

The open house will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Wyoming Lottery Corporation’s headquarters, located at 1620 Central Ave, Suite 100 in the former Deming Building in downtown Cheyenne. The official logo unveiling will occur at 12:30 p.m.

The logo, audio quotes from Wyoming Lottery CEO Jon Clontz and a press release will be released to media outlets by 2 p.m. on Jan. 30, as well as being available on the website, wyolotto.com, which will be live by Jan. 30.


About the Wyoming Lottery

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation is a quasi-government business entity established by House Bill 77 in the 2013 legislative session and signed into law by Wyoming Governor Matt Mead last March. The corporation operates as a private business and does not employ state employees or use state tax money. State law requires the first $6 million worth of lottery revenue to be distributed to cities, towns and counties based on Wyoming’s sales tax formula.
