On July 5, WyoLottoTM transferred $1,474,346.49 to the State Treasurer’s Office, where the funds will be distributed to Wyoming’s cities, towns and counties. This is the highest amount ever transferred to the state since the launch of the Wyoming Lottery in 2014, barely beating out the last transfer (April 2018) that was also a record breaker at the time.

On Saturday, May 5, a lucky PowerballⓇ player became a millionaire as WyoLotto’sTM latest big winner. WyoLotto officials announced the $2 million ticket was sold at Maverik, located at 4651 W. Yellowstone Hwy, in Casper, Wyo. No one was able to match all five numbers and the Powerball, as the jackpot increased to $233 million, but the lucky player at the Casper Maverik was able to match all five regular numbers to become the newest millionaire. By adding the Power Play for just an extra $1, this player doubled their winnings from the $1 million prize to $2 million.
