Mega Millions Winnings Stay Hot With $15,000 Ticket

As summer temperatures rise, so do the number of WyoLotto™ winners. One lucky Mega Millions® player scored a winning ticket worth $15,000 on the heels of June’s $40,000 Powerball® win, and Cowboy Draw™ players wrangled 15 $1,000 tickets in the state’s newest lottery game.

The winning Mega Millions ticket was sold on July 6 at Alf’s Pub and Package located at 1622 East 19th Street in Cheyenne. Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the optional Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m. Ticket sales close at 8 p.m.

The winning numbers for the July 10 Mega Millions drawing were 24, 27, 45, 51, 54, and 8 with a Megaplier of 3x.

Tickets for the Cowboy Draw game are sold only in Wyoming, giving WyoLotto players higher chances of winning prizes. Since the game’s launch on March 15, four lucky players have hit the jackpot and more than 200 players have won $1,000 each. Total winnings for just the Cowboy Draw game have reached over an estimated $2 million.

The winning numbers for the July 6 drawing were 11, 23, 24, 36 and 45; winning numbers for the July 9 drawing were 2, 5, 21, 35, and 36; and winning numbers for the July 13 drawing were 13, 17, 27, 30, and 43. Be sure to check your tickets at wyolotto.com to see if you have won.

Each $5 ticket provides two chances to win. The weekly drawings for Cowboy Draw will be held every Monday and Thursday at 2 p.m. MST. The jackpot starts at $250,000 and keeps growing until someone wins.

With the addition of the new game, WyoLotto players have more chances to win a jackpot! The Cowboy Draw jackpot is now at an estimated $358,000, Mega Millions jackpot is now at an estimated $123 million, and Powerball is now at an estimated $60 million. So far, 508,752 WyoLotto players have won a total of $4,720,049 since the launch of the lottery in August 2014.
