Cheyenne King Soopers sells winning Mega Millions ticket

The Wyoming Lottery Corporation today reported that one player won $2,000 in the Mega Millions® drawing on Fri., March 20. King Soopers, located on 3702 Dell Range Rd in Cheyenne, sold the winning ticket on March 19.

The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were 7, 50, 54, 61, 75, and 7. The Megaplier was 4x. So far, 277,403 WyoLotto players have won a total of $1,547,298 since the launch of the lottery in August 2014.

With the addition of the new in-state game, WyoLotto players have more chances to win a jackpot! Mega Millions jackpot is now at an estimated $59 million, Powerball® now at an estimated $40 million and the Cowboy Draw® jackpot now at $325,000.

Mega Millions tickets cost $1 for each play, plus $1 for the Megaplier. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 9 p.m and ticket sales close at 8 p.m. Powerball tickets cost $2 for each play, plus an additional $1 for Power Play. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:59 p.m, and ticket sales close at 7:59 p.m. The Cowboy Draw tickets cost $5 with two chances to win. The drawings for Cowboy Draw will be held every Monday and Thursday at 2 p.m.

If you won, retailers are authorized to pay up to $599 in prizes, but prizes over $600 must be processed through lottery headquarters in Cheyenne either in person or by mail.
